The Public Good Institute
A public-interest institute for a public-interest question
The Public Good Institute convenes the people who decide how public-serving systems are built, procured and held to account — and asks how emerging technology can serve the people those systems exist for.
Purpose
Human services sit at the point where public institutions meet people at their most vulnerable. The tools available to those institutions are changing quickly. The Institute exists to make sure that change is governed by public-interest questions rather than driven only by what is technically possible or commercially available.
We are not a vendor and not a lobby. We convene practitioners, leaders, communities and public servants around the hard, specific questions — governance, privacy, workforce, equity, procurement — and we keep the human relationship at the centre of the conversation.
